Week 9 of my public experiment
I wanted to finish The Existonomist and let it out into the world. The week turned into housebuilding: review, transcreation, backup, glossary. Today a website is a small piece of software. And being public is not a launch. It is a house you live in — and a house needs pipes, wiring, valves, and a few labels on the fuse box.

The review work of the past weeks stopped being a task and became a house rule. From now on, every new week needs a glossary check, a hover check, and a source check. A term I do not explain is a hole in the wall. A source I do not verify is a loose cable under the floorboard.
This is where Existonomy becomes practical for me. Public reputation has to be inspectable. Attention alone is too thin. It shines for a second, then it leaves dust on the shelf.
Is this more administrative work? Yes. Of course. Nobody dreams of labelling pipes. But without it, the house fills with content rubble. And I have no wish to live in a nicely painted landfill.
I do not want my thinking to get stuck in one language. That is why my websites exist in German, Spanish, and English. I had all three versions reviewed. The result was not dramatic. Worse: it was clear.
English and Spanish still sounded too often like German had put on a better coat. Too much attention went into correct words. Too little went into the voice that a reader in that language would actually hear.
A good translation moves words across. A good transcreation carries the thought across and lets it stand on its own feet there. That is the work now.
On the One Tax page there is a feedback button. You can open the page in review mode and tell me what feels round to you and what still knocks against the doorframe. Or we talk directly. Then I record the conversation and learn from how I speak when I am not polishing sentences. That is how the other languages will become more natural, step by step.
On the Existonomy site I started to explain One Tax: what it is, why it might carry, and how it calculates. A converter for each European country is already standing on the workbench. The next step is a comparison calculator, so you can see how your own situation might look in a One Tax country.
The pie charts became rounder and easier to read. Small thing. Big difference. If a reader has to squint, the idea has already lost its shoes in the hallway.
At the same time, Misthos began to open another room. We are considering offering the whole distribution and accounting logic free of charge. Misthos should become a standard for collaboration: fairness, partnership, democracy, transparency. In money relationships, that should not be exotic furniture. It should be the table.
4 · What I take from it
Difference
I expected completion and publication. What arrived was care: review rules, transcreation audits, backup, glossary work. The two belong together. A house can be opened before it is fully quiet in the walls.
Outlook
Week 34 will show whether the new walls hold: the first week with review as a fixed rule, the first versions at transcreation level, and the new horizons under everyday conditions.
Next hypothesis
A public venture only holds when maintenance has the same rank as strolling through the front door.
