Actuality (Wirklichkeit)
Actuality is what exists independently of human interpretation: bodies, ecosystems, limits, needs, consequences, time, energy, death, birth, hunger, fatigue, relation.
Concept
Existonomy asks which existence the economy serves. It treats markets, money, organizations, ownership and rules as human-made shared realities — powerful, useful, and open to redesign.
Two words matter
Actuality is what exists independently of human interpretation: bodies, ecosystems, limits, needs, consequences, time, energy, death, birth, hunger, fatigue, relation.
Shared Reality is what humans create together: rules, institutions, markets, companies, money, ownership, contracts, stories, roles and systems of coordination.
Working definition
An existonomist does not wait for the economy to change. They do business differently.
An existonomist uses Existonomy as a framework for economic decision-making. They respect Actuality and examine Shared Reality: the rules, institutions, agreements and habits that humans have created together. The aim is to make economic decisions that support the unfolding of existence.
Simple definition
Existonomists do not try to change the economy from a balcony. They participate differently.
They pay attention to how they work, who they work with, how money is shared, which rules shape cooperation, and what consequences their actions create. Economies change when enough people begin to take part in them differently.
Professional definition
Existonomists do not treat economic rules as laws of nature. They examine which rules serve life.
Existonomy treats economic practice as design work. It asks whether rules make cooperation easier, whether contribution matters more than ownership, whether learning is possible, and whether value flows toward the work that maintains existence.
Philosophical definition
Existonomists do not ask how an economy should work. They ask which existence the economy serves.
The economy is part of existence, not a separate machine floating above it. Existonomy is an ongoing attempt to shape Shared Realities that support life, cooperation, learning, adaptability and the long-term unfolding of existence.
