This policy explains which data The Existonomist processes and what is planned for a future weeknotes subscription.
Last updated: 14 August 20262. Website delivery
The website is delivered via Cloudflare Pages. When the site is accessed, Cloudflare processes technically necessary access data such as IP address, time, requested URL, browser information and security events to deliver the site and keep it stable and secure.
3. DNS, security and encryption
The domains are managed via Cloudflare. HTTPS/TLS protects the connection. Cloudflare Email Routing is not used as a mailbox replacement.
4. External fonts
The site currently loads fonts from Google Fonts. The browser may transmit connection data to Google. Self-hosting fonts remains a useful later cleanup step.
5. Local review data
The public site does not set its own tracking cookies. Internal review mode and the terminology approval page can store entries in the browser via localStorage. These entries stay in the browser and are not automatically sent to the server.
6. The Existonomist subscription
The public subscription is not active yet. Once enabled, the site will process the entered email address, language, signup time, confirmation status and technical log data. The intended flow is double opt-in: the subscription becomes active only after a confirmation link is clicked. Each email must include an unsubscribe link.
7. Storage period
Unconfirmed signups are stored only as long as needed for confirmation or abuse prevention. Confirmed subscriptions are stored until unsubscribe.
8. Processors
Cloudflare is used for hosting, DNS and security. A future subscription may use Cloudflare Pages Functions, D1 and email delivery or an equivalent provider. Data is not shared for advertising.
9. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and objection where applicable. Consent can be withdrawn for the future.
