The workshop got a second door.

Week 7 of my public experiment

This week looked like portal maintenance, conversations, and some preparation for rest. In fact it was about separation: public and private, archive and present, automation and responsibility, venture idea and lived risk.

1 · What I expected

  • Keep developing The Existonomist and the adaptive accelerator open-source portal.
  • Let the source routines run and collect new traces from conversations.
  • Clear a few open technical issues out of the way.

2 · What really happened

  • Ethos was formulated as its own adaptive accelerator entry point into the inner compass, not just as a Ries excerpt.
  • Spontaneous conversations and Soul Sadhaka appointments showed again that venture work does not fit into calendar format.
  • The separation between the public workshop and private space itself became a theme.

3 · What this week did to me

Ethos had to stand on its own feet

On 28 July, the Ries question produced an independent beginner document for the adaptive accelerator. That matters. A good source may give a push. It must not remain the crutch. If the adaptive accelerator is to become publicly understandable, it needs to find its own words. Otherwise it remains an excerpt with a pretty cover sheet. For now, the document is running its practical test with a client before it becomes a fixed part of the adaptive accelerator portal.

Conversations are not a data source. They are work

Tanja, Francois, Wolfgang. The calendar holds names and appointments. The week holds more: relationship, risk, blur, what people ask each other to bear. That is exactly why I no longer want to hang HiNotes on the technology. They are conversations. Some of them later become sources. Others remain only the soil something grows from.

Private is not simply unpublished

On 2 August, a private vault came into being. That sounds like file storage. For The Existonomist it is a red line. There is material that does not belong in the public workshop, even when it would be economically interesting. Private financial questions, family matters, health details. If everything can become a source, separation itself has to become a capability.

Automation needs maintenance, otherwise it becomes folklore

The monthly cron health check was unspectacular and useful. Some jobs ran, some did not. That is exactly how it is with an Extended Mind: it feels great until you notice that the machine gathers dust too. Whoever wants a memory of the future needs more than cron jobs. They need maintenance, error signals, and the willingness not to gloss over broken routines.

4 · What I take from it

  1. A source is only truly integrated when it keeps working in its own words.
  2. Conversations are workshop work, not just material for later texts.
  3. Separation between public and private is not a brake. It is the condition that keeps public work possible at all.

Difference

Expected was further development. In reality, the week showed that The Existonomist needs a second door: one into the public workshop and one that stays closed.

Outlook

Week 32 starts with review, rest, and the question of how much venture founding belongs in a public weeknote.

Next hypothesis

The Existonomist stays credible when it does not hide boundaries but makes them visible as part of economic work.
